Fire of the Valley State Park

Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada’s oldest and largest state park, spans 46,000 acres in the Mojave Desert, 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. Its vibrant red Aztec sandstone formations, formed 150 million years ago, blaze under sunlight, inspiring its name. Ancient petroglyphs, over 2,000 years old, and petrified logs dot the landscape.
