• On the way to Camels Hump

    I hiked from 7am until 6pm and got close enough to get Camel's Hump done tomorrow. I think i did 16 miles. The first 6 were uphill. I don't know why I am in such a rush to get this done. I think it is because I've been told by northbound hikers it is the last real big challenge in the trail for southbounders There still is Killington, but there are days between big peaks, not one right after another. I just pulled over next to a stream, and hung my hammock, ate something quick, and am ready for some rest. Walked over the new bridge over the Winooski River.
