Ranong

Nach Ayutthaya gab's wieder eine 3.Klasse Bahnfahrt zurück nach Bangkok und dann einen Inlandsflug nach Ranong.

Ranong ist eine kleine Hafenstadt, man sieht die Nachbarschaft zu Myanmar.

Auch hier gibt es Gebäude die als Skelette von der asiatischen Finanzkrise in den 90ern zeugen. Z.b. ein nie fertiggestelltes Hotel.

After Ayutthaya there was another 3rd class train ride back to Bangkok and then a domestic flight to Ranong.

Ranong is a small port town, you can see the neighborhood to Myanmar.

Here, too, there are buildings that bear witness to the Asian financial crisis in the 90s as skeletons. E.g. a hotel that was never completed.
