Surat Thani

Von Koh Phayam sind wir mit Speedboot nach Ranong, auf der Ladefläche eines Pickups zum Busbahnhof und von dort mit dem Bus nach Surat Thani.

Wir saßen schon im Bus als der Busfahrer beginnt Motor herum zu werken um schließlich mit irgendeinem ausgebauten Teil in einem Tuktuk zu verschwinden 🤷‍♀️
Er ist glücklicherweise wieder zurück gekommen und wir sind dann mit nur 45 Minuten Verspätung losgefahren 😉

Da wir erst kurz vor Einbruch der Dunkelheit in der Stadt angekommen sind haben wir nichts gesehen, aber wir haben ausgezeichnet Sushi gegessen und uns mit ein paar Thais über die lokale Kulinarik unterhalten.

From Koh Phayam we took a speedboat to Ranong, went on the back of a pickup to the bus station and from there we took the bus to Surat Thani.

We were already sitting on the bus when the bus driver started to tamper with the engine and finally disappeared in a tuktuk with some removed part 🤷‍♀️ Luckily he came back and we started only 45 minutes late 😉

Since we arrived in the city just before nightfall, we didn't see anything, but we ate excellent sushi and chatted with a few Thais about the local cuisine.
