Essen & Trinken in Seoul

Dank Tina hab ich Jon kennengelernt, ein Kanadier der seit über 20 Jahren in Südkorea lebt. Jon ist ein extrem offener Mensch, der mich sofort aufgenommen und mit tonnenweise Wissen zur lokalen Geschichte sowie lokalem Essen versorgt hat.

Mit ihm und einigen seiner Freunde konnte ich Speisen ausprobieren, die zum Teil alleine schwierig zu bestellen sind (die BBQ Tische sind für 4 oder mehr, oftmals muss man alleine mehr Fleisch bestellen) bzw halt dafür gemacht sind das viele davon essen (grosser Topf wird serviert) und auch fein trinken, sowohl in Bars als auch vorm Supermarkt 😅

Das heisst, mit Jon hatte ich den absoluten Jackpot in Seoul - interessante Gespräche, wunderbares Essen und vor allem gute Gesellschaft.

Thanks to Tina, I met Jon, a Canadian who has been living in South Korea for over 20 years. Jon is an extremely open person who welcomed me straight away and provided me with tons of knowledge about local history and local food.

With him and some of his friends, I was able to try out dishes that are sometimes difficult to order alone (the BBQ tables are for 4 or more, often you have to order more meat alone) or are made so that many people eat them (a large pot is served) and also fine drinking, both in bars and in front of the supermarket 😅

That means, with Jon I had the absolute jackpot in Seoul - interesting conversations, wonderful food and above all good company.
