In meiner Erinnerung von meinem Besuch 2007 war Split eine dreckige Stadt. Kein Wunsch-Reiseziel.
Würde der Autoreise-Nachtzug von Livorno noch existieren, wären wir nie hier gewesen und ich hätte diese Meinung von Split nicht revidieren können.
Marcus und mir hat Split sehr gut gefallen. Zugegeben, hier sind enorm viele britische Touristen, aber darüber kann man hinweg sehen 😅
Die Stadt wurde seit meinem Besuch ziemlich herausgeputzt, finde ich. Viele nette Lokale, keine Keiler, gute Stimmung und alle können gut Englisch.
Wir haben hier zwei wunderbare Tage verbracht bevor wir Montag Nachmittag den Autoreise-Nachtzug von Split nach Wien besteigen.

In my memory from my visit in 2007, Split was a dirty city. Not a dream travel destination.
If the road trip night train from Livorno still existed, we would never have been here and I would not have been able to revise this opinion of Split.
Marcus and I really enjoyed Split. Admittedly, there are a huge number of British tourists here, but you can ignore that 😅 I think the city has been spruced up quite a bit since my visit. Lots of nice bars, relaxed atmosphere and everyone speaks good English.
We spent two wonderful days here before boarding the road trip night train from Split to Vienna on Monday afternoon.
