In Thailand’s buses, I noticed that many ticket collectors were women, unlike in India.

Late at night, the collector approached us with a Google Translate screen, informing us about a dinner stop. The bus pulled into a huge complex where many other buses were parked. Food was complimentary for passengers, but only for selected options.Read more
