Food, Work & Wait @ SunStar

We reached Pala around 4 PM and immediately checked the RedBus app for available options to Bangalore. Thankfully, there were still a few buses with available seating. We found a Kerala Lines sleeper bus scheduled for 8:15 PM — a four-hour wait ahead of us.

I booked the tickets, and we headed to a nearby food plaza called SunStar. It turned out to be a great place to pass time. We had a decent meal, grabbed some drinks, and Sam even got a chance to catch up on some pending office work on her laptop — which she’d carried along for the trip.Read more
