Shadows & Sunshine on the Way to Samos

We had sun today for the first time in over a week!

Our trek today was pretty nice as alot of it was on a woodland path through woods & along streams. We've had rain for an extended time so the streams are pretty high.

Going through lots of tiny villages, we saw many chestnut trees on a hillside that had large fabric nets under the trees to collect the chestnuts that drop.

Late this afternoon we took a tour of the Benedictine Monestary of Samos. The tour was in Spanish. My Google Translate App couldn't keep up with tour, so I turned it off & took pics of the beautiful murals on the walls.Читать далее
