Time for our horizontal rain jackets

Machiel's appointment was only at 14:00. So we had a very relaxed morning. The doctor had some good advice and with some new nose sprays we continued our way further south-west.

On the way we found a shoe fence, so we added one of our own. That's just the rules here. Near our campsite for the night we visited Nugget Point, a lighthouse in a cool location. While we arrived at the parking the weather got a bit bad, but we have excellent gear so that won't stop us, right? We had rain gear on, but only our sport shoes and that turned out to be a mistake. It was a bit of a walk and the rain only seemed to intensify. At section without wind protection we got hit hard by horizontal rain, so we had to stop looking in that direction and couldn't make any pictures of that part either. Still fun, but arriving back at the car our feet were swimming. We were a bit afraid the grass at the campsite would be a swimming pool as well, but thankfully it was okish.Baca selengkapnya
