Shuangyuan

We spent a day in Taipei 'living like a local ' - (the tour description). First off an 8 km bicycle ride along the river front. This was followed by a trip to a food market which had an amazing array of mysterious products. We then proceeded to a local restaurant for a tasty bowl of beef noodles and other mysterious items. After lunch we visited Chiang Kai-shek's memorial which was enormous and rather beautiful in its austerity. The final stop was at the main city temple where locals call in to seek guidance with their life's decisions.Read more
