Punishingly hot today, so of course we went for a walk all across the city to see a Roman mosaic! It took some finding and was rather fragmentary. Another steaming, dripping, walk back to the centre and another couple of hours in the National Historical museum for a more detailed look at some of the things we saw briefly with the tour. At least it is air conditioned!
Late check out at 3.00. We'll pop out for a late lunch and can then stay in the hotel till we have to leave. It's going to be a long journey and we won't be home until 1 or 2 in the morning.Read more
