So sad that today was the last day in the schools. We went to Dudiye with Class 3. As always, a highlight.❤️
Spent the morning in Gajal Primary School- designing and painting murals on the new classroom. 🦋
Spent the day delivering the banners we made to the schools. The kids were so happy- their faces just lit up. Most of the classrooms are so dark and dreary- they really brighten up the classrooms.
Today, we spent the day in one of the most remote areas in Arri. I installed a plaque in honor of Lesley’s dad- their family funded most of the water points in this area. ❤️
Had the opportunity to learn the drumming parts of some of the tribal dances. The pressure was on when we needed to perform at a welcome ceremony.
Took a walk around the institute and ran into old friends we haven’t seen since 2019. Very fun to catch up and practice my Swahili.
