Day 10 - Headed Home

Departure day dawned with another beautiful sunrise and it wasn’t long before we were all packed up and ready to go 😞

It was another great trip to the OBX - great weather, good friends and great memories!

Before we left Hatteras Island, Kev and I took a quick look at how the northern end of Rodanthe made it through the storm - wow Idalia moved a lot of sand!! 😳

We all decided to make it a 2 day trip home but by different routes. Kev and I did however play leap frog along the highway with Jeff and Claudia all the way through Maryland and Delaware! 😂
Poor Wes and Viv made most of the trip home without A/C 🥵
