Around and up to Donner

We stopped off to look at the island where the crazy "look at my toes" hermit lived but you can see the haze is still thick. Franklin took a few pots shots with the "cannon".

It wasn't long up to Donner Lake where the kids helped set up shop. We had a nice pasta dinner and then - our first screen activity in a couple weeks - we watched "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly" with the laptop on the dashboard. Well - with watched the first half and finished it the next night. Samantha liked the movie but isn't convinced Clint was particularly "good".
