Devil's Kitchen - starting up

We drove up to the Lassen Visitor's Center after breakfast to talk with the Rangers. The road through the park was still closed half-way up because of the snow. This also meant the most famous hike through Bumpass Hell was closed. BUT - there was another hike to Devil's Kitchen if we drove around the park to the east. So - off we went.
