Ceramic craftsman visit

Our driver/guide Rajeev took us to visit an elderly couple who live near the step-well. They make a very meager living creating little terracotta tea cups that they sell to tea stands for a rupee each (1¢) and various other small clay items. They live a very simple life, and they have no children to take care of them so their life is even harder. Even so, the sweet woman gave me a seed pod necklace and a scarf! We were happy to give them a good tip for demonstrating their craft.Baca lagi
