CAREENING BAY. Quick stop to checkout histoic boab inscribed with "HNC Mermaid 1820" after Philip Parker King stopped to repair boat on his survey of Oz.
CAPE POND. Awesome ⚓️ & rest from a big day of ??? ⛵️...9 knts SOG vs 3 knts STW on a 45° angle + 1hr of wind vs tide slop 👎. Little islands, joined by sand @ LW, flood with incoming tide to form creeks and ponds...great fun to explore & 🎣 .
PRUDHOE ISLAND. We tucked up for 2 🌙 in Shelter Bay. Not a 🐊 area but lots & losts of 🦈 🦈 🦈. A hike (rock/spinifex scramble), beach swim, & camp🔥 tea...❤️ it.
