• Weatherman in control 😆

    14.–20. sep. 2024, Australia ⋅ 🌬 31 °C

After adventure shopping, we ⛵️to Buce Bay, southwest of CAPE TALBOT, to wait for a wind window to get around CAPE LONDONDERRY, the most northern point of WA & notorious for beating up an unsuspecting sailor or two.
Despite lots of 🐊 tracks making nervous beach visits & it being a bit rocknroll at times it was good to chillax.
After 4 days we scored a sml break in the persistent easterly pattern to buzz around the corner...now sitting in GLYCOSMIS BAY. Awesome spot, surrounded by stunning cliffs & lots of wildlife...big + is out of the wind & no rocking.
Our treks start with 😨 cliff climbs but are well worth it. Trek 1 up to the Lost City...super cool caves & art. Trek 2 up to the waterways, giant Boab & billabongs...mostly dry now but easy to picture how stunning it would be in the wet season. We await the weatherman's 👍 for our next ⛵️ to King George River.
