A relatively easy day today along the Frances. What a difference it is along this trail. Many other pilgrims along the trail, and at rest stops. The trails are all well groomed, and shaded by rows ofLeia mais
Another very pleasant easy walk today along the tree lined trail. It really brings back memories of 2013 when I see things on the trail such as the “Elvis Bar”, and the tired pilgrims statue.Leia mais
Another day of great weather. We made it to the great city of Leon. I registered at my albergue, shortly after 1:00 pm. It is another parochial one. Just 6 euro includes breakfast! We are inside theLeia mais
The nun’s woke the albergue up at 6:00 am sharp this morning. This was ok with me, as I wanted to get an early start. I ate a couple of yogurts that I bought the night before, and hit theLeia mais
I couldn’t believe it when I woke up this morning in bed and checked my iPad. IT WAS 8:20!!! Had a real restful sleep. To my surprise, is nay 1 other perigrino was up. I got the p and startedLeia mais
Set out early this morning, and the sun rise in the mountains was fantastic. Again it was up up up. At the summit today, the views where fantastic. Our little group had great fun taking photos upLeia mais
