This morning, on our way out of Kanchanaburi, we visited the bridge on the river Kwai. There is also a little market that we had fun shopping in. Tasting dried jackfruit too.
At the waterfall, there are lots of little fish that will give you a pedicure for free.
We arrived at Good Times Resort and were so warmly greeted. Our host, Chalee, then surprised the students with dinner and dancing on her friend’s party barge. It was a great time!
More WW2 history...this is the famous bride on the river Kwai. But the real pronunciation is like Kway. The movie changed it...and it was incredibly inaccurate. Your students can tell you why.
