North Sea chill in Gothenburg Sweden

Chilly day as we docked at Gothenburg Sweden today. Dug out the jackets, scarves, and beanies to rug up for the North Sea chill in the air. Gothenburg is the 2nd largest city in Sweden behind Rotterdam, with a population of 600k tesidents, and currently home to the tallest building in the country. Took the shuttle bus into downtown Gothenburg and then had a lovely stroll around the town centre. Quite cosmopolitan with modern buildings mixed with centuries old structures and statue's, on the banks of a lovely watercourse that meanders through the city. Like Prague, there are cute trams that seem to date back to the 1940's. Beautiful little side avenues made for pedestrians and push bikes with every type of shop you can imagine. Looking for a pub or hotel for a drink....keep your eyes open for the Lagerhaust.Läs mer
