The Pafos Archaeological Park is the ancient city of Paphos in what is now the south-western coast of Cyprus. It comprises about one third of the ancient city. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city was probably founded in the 4th century BC, even before it became a city of the Ptolemaic Empire.
