Jacobite Train to Skye

I have a thing about goats, which you can tell from the photos. Our little boutique hotel was like a fairy-dell, with animals, streams and magical vistas in every direction.

Today we rode the Jacobite (Harry Potter) train from Fort William to Mallaig on the West Highland line. Next, a ferry to Armadale and the Isle of Sky.

All the train scenery shots are through the glass window, which is no mean feat (thanks to Bas).

If I didn’t have a massive cold, I would be feeling a lot more joyful. Bas is drinking a Celtic coffee (with Glenmorangie), so he is definitely joyful 😀Read more
