Day 106: Richard’s Bay Cancelled

8:10 am Captain Richard just announced due to unsafe weather conditions we will not be docking at Richard’s Bay.

One picture shows the current route and position of the Neptune. You can see we headed in then turned out.

At noontime we got an announcement that we will be docking in Durban, South Africa at 4:00pm

Opps. Bad weather in Durban. Not docking here today either.

The Neptune staff has done a great job calling an audible.

I feel for the responsibility Captain Richard has. Clearly safety of passengers, crew, and the ship have to take priority.Read more
