Some things to do in East Hampton

Once we found our AirBNB - only a mile away from Jackson Pollock's home. We headed to "The Cookery" our favorite place to eat. a five minute drive from where we were staying. They have GREAT soup and bakery items. They also serve wonderful breakfast items.

The we headed out to fine a Winery for a bit of adult beverage and Wine tasting. Lina at The Cookery pointed us to Wolffer Estate. We were a bit underdressed - It was a Friday night. and there were some high end bridal showers and bachelor parties under way. The chickery board was nice. we got a couple of wine flights and enjoyed our tasting process. Honestly, we weren't that impressed with their wines. THey were okay - not great.

Donna found "The Clubhouse" a nice multi-pupose venue for all sorts activities and parties. They had a might little mini golf course which we played a round., We carry our putters with us when we travel. We were tied at the 9th hole - but then she beat me badly in the end.

It was a nice way to spend the Friday afternoon and evening. we had a good time.Read more
