• A can of worms.

I knew exactly what was going to happen when I opened up this can of worms. Once you start digging into a wiring system of any car - it's not good. It is a journey into a black hole of no return.

But this journey needed to be done.

So, I do not know if my father-in-law did the conversion from the original engine to the Kohler snowmobile engine. But, it appears there are three wiring systems at polay here. 1) The factory Berkeley system, 2) The Kohler snowmobile system, 3) The Tom Drause (My father-in-law's) custom wiring, and NOW 4) Paul's enhancements.

Lots of ground wires needed reconnection. I have snipped and replaced ends to just about every connector. Also tinning the bare wires where needed. Running new wires that were once 2 or 3 wires (of different colors) sliped together. So, hopefully, this all makes sense now.

I am adding fuse blocks under the dash, and a ground terminal block. This car is 99% fiberglass so you have to run a ground circuit as well.
