School, Mermaid, and beer

First day of school! (sort of)
Today the boys joined Daniel and Emilie at school. They spent the first part of the day playing a real version of Fortnite, their favourite video game. The classes had created a real version for a school event. Their second period was cooking class and they got to make apple pie (they did not bring any home to share). And during their final period, Science and Math, Isaac and Oliver got to present their slideshow of photos from home. They also gave each of the students and teachers a Canada buff as a thank you for having them.

So, while the kids were at school Jen and I went out for coffee, walked around a mall, visited The Little Mermaid statue and found a brewery (we shared a toast to my sister Jody's birthday) and food stall village (https://reffen.dk/en/) down by the harbour.Read more
