Goal: don't fall asleep at 4pm

We made it to Ireland and our hotel around 3pm 🙌 now the challenge was to stay awake until a reasonable bed time!

While we waited for our room to get ready we checked out the hotel bar - the scones we got were amazing, with the best clotted cream to cover them in! I think I could just eat those scones for the rest of my life.

We got our room, a cute little boutique hotel room tucked up in the corner. We successfully resisted the urge to nap, got cleaned up from a full day of travel and headed out to eat more!

Igor found a great seafood restaurant, called Matt the Thresher, where we had some amazing oysters, halibut, chowder, and cocktails 👌

We wrapped up dinner and it was... only 7 pm. :( So ready for sleep! We agreed on a pub stop on the way home, and stayed out all the way until 830! Party animals we are.

Now off to bed at a reasonable hour!Weiterlesen
