We've been reunited with the rest of the crew!

Our Sunday was spent exploring the rose gardens and getting some tasty foods. The weather has been perfect, hot in the sun but a cooling breeze and the most pleasant temperature in the shade.

We had a pretty big pasta/Milanese lunch and so we decided to keep it light for dinner, especially with a big lunch coming up tomorrow. Just a few blocks from our Airbnb, we headed out at the late hour of 9pm 😮.

La Mar, is a cute little spot, with a big green patio - specializing in ceviche, tasty cocktails, and grilled meats, it was a great day to relax outside for the evening!

We had a lazy morning as we geared up for a big lunch at Don Julio, a 1 Michelin star steak restaurant. On arrival, we checked in with our ressie, and we're served Argentinian sparkling wine (Chadon) and empanadas, a fantastic start.

For our meal, we went with a bone in ribeye, flank steak, and a short rib - all were delicious but the flank steak and short rib actually pulled ahead! Additional sides included trumpet mushrooms, tomato salad, steak fries, and bread.

All wrapped up with a karafe of coffee, sorbet, ice cream, and a few Argentinian dessert wines (sherry style, apple-ice wine, and a gewürztraminer sweet wine). 🥂Read more
