    Bargara Beach - Mon Repos

    Amazing night with the loggerhead turtles laying their eggs. This one is 47 yrs old, was born at Mon Repos, and started laying eggs here in 2003. Apparently they return to the same beach that they were born on to lay their eggs. She laid 123 eggs tonight , which we had to dig up and relocate above the high tide mark after she left.
