Florence

Wow! We had a great day today as we drove through what seemed like 100 tunnels into Italia. Had a couple of hours in Pisa to check out the leaning tower and wander through the market stalls and restaurants. The street hawkers were very aggressive here trying to sell their wares.

We had some thunder storms and rain as we drove in to Florence, but thankfully it cleared as we arrived. A beautiful Tuscan city is Florence...we had a guided walking tour with Sam around the hot spots, before our optional dinner which was beautiful. Florentine steak was the star of the dinner, but was preceded by 3 courses including bruschetta, risotto, and carbonara and followed by tiramisu and sweet wine. Absolutely beautiful!Read more
