It took two attempts to see the Bonsai exhibition. The arboretum is open until 8:30 pm so we chose to go there at the end of the day only to find that, while the gates were open, the exhibitions were all shut at 4:00.

A wonderful display of bonsai trees at the arboretum that will probably look great in 20 years time and amazing in 50 years time.Les mer

ReisendeThe original Arboretum burned down in the 2003 bushfire that went right into the suburbs. It destroyed nearly 500 homes, injured a few hundred people and killed a few as well. That's why they were so antsy with the recent big fire.
