Got here at the falls last night on Friday after work. RV17 spot is really tight. If we come back we're definitely trying a different spot. The electric pole is shared and its so far away we had to use 20a electric cord to reach it. Two campers on 20a breaker - fingers crossed.

Brought Mallie with us. Seems happy so far. She's got a luxury bed lol so that's all she cares about.

3 different tent campers with kids around us already packed up & left this morning. Weird they only stayed one night.

Havent used the a/c yet. Stuffy in the camper but slept good in the cool air. Supposed to be a bad storm tonight with high winds like 2a-6a. Not sure if we gonna pull in bunkends or not.

Went ahead & grilled up all the meat. Rainy windy weather moving in later, not sure how long it will last so wanted to get it all cooked over the fire before the tornado got us lol 😂

Veggie dogs, veggie burgers, reg burgers, reg dogs, and Cajun chicken sausage franks! So good!Read more

Neighbors

We met the older lady neighbor whole starting our fire. They're probably in their late 60s or so. She's originally from Holland; I think he's from the states. They now love in Alberta, Canada.

Somehow we spent a good 30mins or so discussing politics. Her & her husband were on pole opposites but now are basically libertarians with a small side of socialism.

We noted how funny it was the kids were NOT on their electronics but us and even these older neighbors were out all morning at the picnic table with their macbooks 😁 😂

Good people. I think they leave tomorrow ;hopefully to be replaced by other good people.Read more

New Arrivals

Ed headed off to "Decoration Day" with his Aunt Joyce and fam. They go to decorate the cemetaries every year for Memorial Day.

I stayed back hopefully to work on these first dance mixes for our next couple of weddings. But haven't been real inspired to get them done yet - too busy relaxing. lol

Our neighbors from Canada packed up and left mid-morning today - that's their lil itty bitty travel wagon - so cute! Then almost all our immediate neighbors sites 16-20 all packed up and headed out. It was quiet for awhile. Somebody's dog pooped in our gravel area - like WTF? it's bad enough you let your dog do it on our site but then you didn't clean it up? Bruh... smh.

Then this afternoon - #TheShufflers rolled in with two big "rigs" each with a trailer carrying a 4-wheeler behind it. They've taken up 3 sites - but somehow I don't think they're paying for all the sites. These sites are tight and i think they thought they could get by with 1 or maybe 2 sites... but no way - sites are way too small. We'll see how that turns out. They'll either be totally cool and awesome or annoying af. lol :)Read more

Last night here. Just hanging outside listening to all the new campers who arrived today. Mallie is definitely tired. Not sure the camping life is for her.

Ed had fun at decoration with Joyce, Anne, & the kids. His cousins Robert & Robin randomly came to the campsite, they didn't know about decoration lol so we visited for awhile before they headed on to the Falls.

Both of us are peacefully tired so probably headed to bed early.Read more

Almost all packed up & ready to go. Definitely not ready to leave. Camping just washes away all the stress. Can't wait to get back after work life during the next 2 weeks.

Our gray water tank was over full. Black water was fine. Dump station was a lil loose... Ewww. All clean & done.
