Ibadan Airport

Interesting struggles with ATC. I was overtaken by a Cessna while I was on Visual Approach Clearance, and about to call Final. Last moment, waved off and re-routed to start again. While re-routed, a C-47 strafed me at about 500 feet, with no warning to either of us, until after-the-fact. Africa is an interesting continent to fly about. My last leg (wink....happens to be American Thanksgiving Day), I was so determined to get down the coast, I flew out in marginal VFR, and it was really soup. I had visited the tower earlier, and shared some bitcoin around.... I was cleared for take-off and ATC helped me all that last flight.Read more
