Chateau Gontier, Mayenne

We were a little later than usual getting on the road today whilst we waited for a huge thunder and rainstorm to subside. It didn't matter though because we're not driving far today; just 20 miles southwest to Chateau Gontier.
We're stationed opposite the river (great views) and a short walk into the town.
The weather brightened considerably in the afternoon so we had a good explore . We found some beautiful gardens and very grand buildings . Czytaj więcej
