We had a lunch stop in the Beau Village of Montréal and a look around the village. Montréal is the first Gascon bastide founded in 1255. The village derives its name from Mont-Royal (a country house located on a rocky outcrop). It has a beautiful central square with arcades and half timbered houses.Read more
