The village is on a short (15km, 9.4mile) canal which made a lovely evening walk

The towpath runs between the canal and the banks of the Dordogne river

The Dordogne river seems quite high and is fast flowing.

Niska spotted something interesting on the walk (probably a duck)

Niska also spotted rabbits. We saw loads of them along the towpath and surrounding fields

Free motorhome parkup in the village, has all services (water, electric chargeable) except bins.

Saint Capraise de Lalinde, Dordogne

Our stopover is at the village aire in Saint Capraise de Lalinde. We are a stone's throw from the canal which runs alongside the Dordogne river. We had a lovely evening walk along the canal bank and a chat with a very nice elderly local lady who by chance had a pocket full of dog biscuits ......someone was delighted!
