Chateau-Chalon, Jura

We had a stop in Dole this morning to get LPG and top up on cheap diesel then a lunch stop at Domblans. Not far away up a winding hill road we stopped at the Beau Village of Chateau-Chalon , torrential and persistent rain prevented us from exploring the village that afternoon but we woke up to sunshine and spent the following morning enjoying the sights in the village. Being perched on a hill meant panoramic views of the vineyards and villages below and lots to explore in the village itself, very old and very well preserved and not at all commercial which is very appealing to us.Baca lagi
