Before starting my year as an international Student, I had my orientation days in the bigggest Canadian City. It also is very nice with the Lake ontario which really is huge. But I personally think that it isn't really a touristic City. BUt more of a place for studying or working. Many canadians are moving there to find a better Job. Ans you can really see that. There's not many Tourist attractions. But if you vistit this City going to the Niagra Falls is a must! They are so amazing and truly woth a trip! You should plan in a whole day to visit them. Also you should check out the Little town which is right behind the falls. It Looks like a City from a Comic book.

During my exchange I also visited Halifax for a weekend. It is a really nice City. What I liked was, that it has a very nice size. It's neither too small nor too big. There's a great varity of food. The waterfront is very pretty and also donwtown i pretty nice. It's good place to go shopping with ist many malls. I'd recommend vissitng Halifax if your looking for a smaller City but still wanting to have many possibilities.Read more

I was an Exchange Student for 10 months in CB. And I have to say: there's no place that stands in comparison with this Little paradise. Its nature is so beautiful and I never met nicer People than on this Island. Although there's not that much going on, it really is worth a trip. It has such a Family atmosphere cause somehow it seems like everyone knows everyone.. But you should winter clothes because the winter there is Long and cold but so pretty.
