    's-Hertogenbosch is precisely halfway between Rotterdam and Mönchengladbach, so why wouldn't I make a put stop there and break a two hour trip in to two one hour journeys? Well I did, and I'm glad of it too. 's-Hertogenbosch is a brilliant little city. It has a huge central square and an amazing Gothic cathedral. Although it has fewer canals than some of the other Dutch towns and cities I've visited over the weekend, the canals it does have are larger and more substantial.
