Nara

Day trip to Nara, though we forgot about the Kintetsu pass and just went via train ic card directly! (Could have saved a little bit of walking by using buses at Nara I think..) It was like a petting zoo with deer at many places! Could buy senbei to feed them at 200y for a small stack of crackers which you can each break into about two to feed. They are nice like alpacas and will bow to you for food or if they feel like it, but if you get a few mobbing you or biting your pants it can get not so nice lol. They also make this squeaking farting sound at around dusk.

Visited Todaiji which had really cool massive statues at the start, and is also huge all around! Overall quite worth a visit, surprisingly both of us enjoyed it, me for the petting zoo aspects, Danny liked the deer as well.Read more
