Today, I started the bus tour of Scotland. This part of the trip I’m doing solo.
So far, we stopped in a small town for a washroom break and saw some highland cows.

Our next stop is a distillery called Tomatin. It’s been in operation for 121 years. The tour was quick but learned about he whisky making process and had a chance to try a sample. Hiccup.

We went to visit the standing stones, similar to stone henge. It’s called the Balnuaran of Clava. There are 3 sets of stone structures here. I wonder if this was a landing pad for alien ships. Hmmm.

Our first stop was Eilean Donan Castle. It was featured in some Hollywood movies including one of the James Bond movies.

Yesterday was just ‘one’ of those days. I’m sure you could tell I wasn’t impressed.
I’m in a better mood this morning. Today is the last day of the tour and we are heading back to Edinburgh.

We made a few more stops on the way back to downtown Edinburgh.
It’s been raining all day so not be greatest weather for a tour.
Tomorrow will be a full travel day.

It’ll be a long day.
Edinburgh to Berlin, then a long wait to catch the train to Munich. Once I arrive there, I’m sure I’ll go straight to bed.

Almost 30 days of being away...wow! I’m excited to go home but sad to see the adventure ending. Back to reality I guess.
