First, we had picketers at the hotel Maya. Then our adventure only got better…lol🤪
    The “Super Dome” of chaos!
Yep….one big heap of a mess getting on the Panorama Carnival cruise ship. Do not care for this LB cruise terminal. They need to figure out a better system of loading. Sam and I decided to kick back, and let the sheep rush on board!!!
We are hanging out at the EMPTY Captains Lounge. Prior, the lounge was filled to capacity, like sardines.
    Now it is just us☺️

  • Cabo is a “Whale of a Tale”

    January 15, 2024 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 27 °F

Sam has not experienced all of my “Whale Tail” adventures. Heck, he has not even seen a whale 🐋 in person! So today, the Lord sent him an experience☺️
We were passing Cabo San Lucas on our soul-mate adventure, so I suggested that we go see, if we could sight some whales. (The Baja Peninsula is very active with sea life, whales and their calves. On the Panama cruise there was a mana ray and a 15 foot hammer head shark). I have also included a couple of pics from our Cucina Del Capitano-Italian Dinner, and the “Love and Marriage”, show from last night.Read more

Scenic Cruise: You will take in stunning views of the Sierra Madre mountain range. Plus, enjoy great music and an open domestic bar on your way to Las Caletas.

Outdoor Theater: Hidden deep in the heart of the tropical rainforest at Las Caletas is a mystical amphitheater under a starlit sky, where the excitement will be waiting for you.
The Show "Alma": Believed to have a protective soul, the Pyramid of the Sun is one of the most important and iconic landmarks in Mexico. However only a handful of souls are aware of the existence of a hidden pyramid with magical energy that is discovered only by those willing to embark on an inspirational journey.
Welcome to Alma, a unique and immersive show that highlights the wonders of what happens when we connect with nature, animals and the ancestral spirits of the surrounding jungle.
Our story follows the legend of the quirky keeper, the protector of this hidden pyramid and sacred object, a character whose only job is to stop anyone from touching the most precious and spiritual symbol on the island. This hidden pyramid has the power to open portals between the gods and humanity.
Our playful and whimsical keeper makes a connection with the pyramid that triggers a series of awakenings, embarking him on a rite of passage that transforms his soul. He soon learns that restoring the balance in the world can only be achieved by respecting and accepting the offerings of this special place.
A surreal and perfectly curated natural amphitheater, nestled in the heart of the jungle, is where you will see this story come to life, through a mixture of incredible acrobatics, original music and unique special effects.

Candlelight Dinner: After the show, enjoy a gourmet-style dinner by candlelight with tropical palms swaying gently overhead.

Catamaran Cruise: Take a relaxing trip on board a catamaran to the very tip of the longest, and perhaps most beautiful, uninhabited peninsula in the world, while sipping on a complimentary beverage. On your way, you’ll listen to a taped narration by Jean-Michel Cousteau on the underwater life, wildlife and ecology of the area. Cruise around Cabo’s bay surrounded by miles of unspoiled beaches and little coves used by pirates as a hiding place.

The Arch: Stop for an amazing view of one of the most famous rock formations, the Cabo San Lucas Arch, also known as Land’s End. This beautiful example of nature took over a million years to form, so don't miss the opportunity to take the perfect selfie with a view of both the rocks and your ship anchored in the bay
