Pokhara - the first few days!

Beautiful Pokhara. After being in the mountains for 4 weeks, working and living a wonderful simple existence, it was time to be a tourist again!
As with all of my first days, on day one, I walked, I got my bearings and had my orientation day. Pokhara is walkable, feels comfortable and easy to get around. The lakeside is stunning and a warning to you all, it's all about the water, mountains and sunsets!
Tuesday, I rented a bike and attempted to cycle round the lake, silly me, I expected a little path, flat and wonderful cycle following the lake side! Forgot about the mountains in the way! I think I made it over half way up and spoke to a lovely family who told me, it was all the way up then a highway down to Pokhara! So decided to turn round and go back the same way, still a lovely cycle and great exercise.
