What a way to end these exciting tales!

Hooker Valley and Sealy Tarns - The famous Hooker Valley walk was one of the few things on my must do list (my list was small due to minimal research, I just knew I wanted to see Aotearoa) Most of the track was closed! It was still beautiful but even better than that was the Sealy Tarns, phenomenal views with many, many, many stairs (look it up on line), my dear old knees held up and it was so worth it!

Mount Saint John - Walk through Alpine forest to the St John Observatory and the views were.......see for yourself!

And one last little walk in Christchurch, an adventure park with an uphill hike and a free chair lift down. After getting lost and walking over 5 miles to get to the bottom of the track from the city centre, I decided to go rogue and do the walk the other way round!

I've loved recording my tramping tales by writing a few words and adding a few pictures. A great way to record these amazing memories. I will be be returning with another edition when I return to Aotearoa to conquer some BIG tramps !

Aotearoa Me Te Wahipounamu, your scenery is breathtaking and like another world at times. Your country leaders obviously love and cherish the amazing countryside and want to share it with all who visits.

The treks throughout your islands are safe, well maintained and have allowed me to do so many walks during my time here. I love walking but this trip has cemented that love and it's grown to new levels.

Kia ora, ka kite au i a koe.
