An easy day in Singapore

We had a lovely quiet day locally, still experiencing yummy food. Bugis Street is pronounced Boogers! The fruit market even has durian which is stinky and banned from most places.

We went to Orchard Road because mum wanted to see what it was like... It was a big fancy shopping street which we didn't get excited about, apart from a great big bookshop Ben had told us about. We each chose a couple of books. If you want to buy the huge fashion labels you will love orchard road but it wasn't our favourite experience.

Then we went to Fatty's for dinner near our apartment, and mum and dad had pepper crab.Read more
Ann Oldmeadow What a lovely family holiday you are all having - so many different things to see and such different foods to taste. Singapore is certainly an interesting country to visit. Nannie and Gramps are really missing you - we can’t wait to see you again and hear all about the things you loved best in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Nicki Doyle Its yesterday for you but for me it's today and bedtime and tomorrow is Sams birthday! Can you work out the date it is today for me? That is wierd isnt it as you will wake up in the morning and it will be yesterday for me 😆. I guess you will spend most of it on a plane but I wanted to wish you a very happy day in case the time lines meant I couldnt catch you on time. Happy birthday Sam! Thinking of you all. Traveler There is only 2 hours difference between here and Melbourne, which is good! Sam is excited to wake up in Legoland for his birthday...
