Weekend at Burnie

The weather gradually improved as we arrived in Burnie. We saw paper made from wombat poo but didn't see any penguins. Very disappointing!

Leaving Launceston

It was time to leave Launceston. We visited the lolly shop and then hit the road for a massive day of adventures. The first stop was seahorse world.
Amazing seahorses

Cabin at Coles Bay

We woke up to see our new location in the light for the first time. Our cabin has a view of the water and the whole area was very pretty. There was a playground and the beach was just across the road.
Devils and quolls, but no tigers

We got to feed and pat lots of great animals. So many pictures, so hard to choose! Ruby patted the sugar glider and got bitten, we decided that was a rare and unique experience not many people have.

Shivering on Mount Wellington

We went up Mount Wellington in the morning. It was about 15 degrees in Hobart but only 3.5 degrees at the top of the mountain. The wind made it feel much colder than that. We couldn't feel our nosesWeiterlesen
