Shivering on Mount Wellington

We went up Mount Wellington in the morning. It was about 15 degrees in Hobart but only 3.5 degrees at the top of the mountain. The wind made it feel much colder than that. We couldn't feel our nosesOkumaya devam et

Guess what we found at Hobart City Hall? A Lego exhibition!! So many great models to see and of course a little Lego shop. It felt a bit like home. There was even a huge model of the Salamanca areaOkumaya devam et
We enjoyed some fish and chips from a floating shop and had a bit more of a look around. Then it was back to the pool for more swimming.
Today we got to relax and not go anywhere except the beach across the road. The beach was too cold to swim but we found heaps of interesting shells. We had 2 big swims in the pool and played in theOkumaya devam et
We set off on a big adventure. Our first big stop for the day (we did stop for a sausage roll and toilets first really) was at a place called the Tessellated Pavement. It was caused by salt crystalsOkumaya devam et
Next we went to the Remarkable Cave. Luckily, it was actually remarkable because otherwise we would have been very disappointed! There were lots of stairs but it was worth it. You could see throughOkumaya devam et
Port Arthur was more fun than we expected. It was a lot of ruins that used to be a convict gaol. The prisoners had to build their own gaol and make their own bricks and iron bars! Life was tough thereOkumaya devam et
There was so much to see and explore!
It was our last full day in Hobart. We went through lots of art galleries and had lunch at a café that looked like an old laundry. Luckily we also got lots of swimming time.
After one last swim ( and a spa to warm up a bit), we headed off to catch the boat. Stopping only for pancakes and toilets, we drove through heavy rain. Sometimes it was hard to see the road.
