Vienna Day 1

1st stop from the UK was Vienna… this visit was actually added by our travel agent to save us a huge amount on airport taxes when we were leaving the UK!
Yesterday we visited the city centre with the main shopping area. There are so many amazing old buildings everywhere, it was just beautiful. We had our first strudel!

What I did spot were a group of 6 scammers getting passers by to bet on which cup the ball was under. The passers by had to bet 50euro and if they got it right they doubled their money. It was easy to win, I was watching. I think what was happening was the scammers were giving out counterfeit 50euro notes when the public ‘won’ and pocketing the genuine currency … there were 2 spotters, and 3 pretending to also be members of the public playing.
